Until the court settlement, Winslow was on trial again for eight 16-year-old charges and stemming from five accusers. If he had been tried and convicted on all charges, Winslow could have faced life imprisonment.
Winslow was the sixth choice in the 2004 draft of the NFL. He spent four years with the Cleveland Browns before playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and New York Jets. He played his last season in 2013.
