Katherine Heigl is about to make a comeback to Hollywood – and she is leaving her Utah mansion behind.
Denouncing the reputation for hard work that caused his popularity to drop in the 2010s, Heigl, 42, started making movies and TV shows once again and is asking for nearly $ 4 million for the 5,267 square foot home in the mountain state.
The former “Grey’s Anatomy” student and her 40-year-old husband, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley, appear to have left this four-bedroom, five-bath castle on N. Maple Ridge Trail in Oakley, Utah, sometime in August or September 2020, Instagram photo show.
The “27 Dresses” star house, with a cozy brick exterior, has an extensive 15-acre property with outdoor patios, a stone terraced garden, a gazebo and a greenhouse, where Heigl posted pictures of herself doing gardening .
Maple Ridge Ranch in Heigl also includes a formal dining room, a large living room and a kitchen with pantry.
The house has high ceilings, stone fireplaces, a balcony and an exclusive stained glass with images of wolves, as shown in the list.
The owner’s room on the main floor has a fireplace, a luxurious bathroom with green tiles and a closet.
It also has an independent apartment attached with its own kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and laundry.
Most notably, the mansion’s huge windows expose panoramic views of the valley, mountains and stunning sunsets in the distance.
Heigl bought the property in 2007 for an unknown price. The house itself was built in 2008, according to Realtor.com, close to the time when she married her husband, with whom she shares three children – Naleigh, 12, Adalaide, 8, and Joshua, 4.
The actress opened up to The Washington Post in a recent interview, saying that the anxiety she felt after her son Joshua was born in 2016 made her feel like dying.
“I asked my mother and husband to find me a place to go that could help me, because I thought I would rather be dead,” said the mother of three. “I didn’t realize how much anxiety I was experiencing until I got so bad that I really needed to seek help.
