The official account of the Royal Family posted two images of Kate, adding: ‘Wishing the Duchess of Cambridge a happy birthday today!’ – followed by the hashtag #HappyBirthdayHRH.

In one, Kate is showing the queen the garden she helped design at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2019.

The other features the Duchess in a scout woggle to meet Cub and Beaver Scouts in Northolt, west London, last fall.

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall also shared a photo of the mother of three and wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge!’ next to a confetti ball emoji.

In their photo, a smiling Kate looks relaxed in a £ 29.50 pink pair of Marks & Spencer pants that she wore to meet parents being helped by support networks from colleagues in last year’s pandemic.

On Kate’s own official social media channels, Kensington Palace posted a photo of her wearing a mask from last month’s Royal Train tour, along with a message in support of the NHS.

It said: ‘Birthdays have been very different in recent months, and our thoughts continue to be with all those who are working on the front lines at this extremely challenging time.’

Kate’s focus in the coming months will be to teach George and Charlotte at home and expand her early years initiative to help the next generation, which she launched last fall.
