Justin Timberlake finally confirmed that he and his wife Jessica Biel welcomed their second child over the summer – a son named Phineas.
The 39-year-old star started talking about life as a father of two during a virtual appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on Monday.
“He’s incredible and so cute. Nobody is sleeping, ”joked Timberlake. “But we are thrilled. We are thrilled and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you very much.”
Reports in July said that Biel, 38, and her husband had a new addition to the family.
The couple managed to keep their pregnancy a total secret while hiding in Montana with their 5-year-old son Silas amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The famous duo, who married in 2012, shrewdly avoided posting full-length photos of Biel on social media during the final stages of pregnancy to keep the baby a secret.
DeGeneres was apparently one of the first outside the immediate family to hear the news.
“I think we were FaceTiming and you said, ‘Hey, do you want to know a secret?’ and then Jessica came in and you put your hand on her belly. You were like, ‘I’m going to have another child!’ ”, She remembered.
Timberlake – who will perform during President-elect Joe Biden’s inaugural TV special on Wednesday – said his son Silas is “super excited” about being an older brother.
“At the moment, he’s really enjoying it,” said Timberlake. “Phin still can’t walk or chase him, so we’ll see what happens.”
