Judge Pirro: ‘Liar, political bully’ Cuomo must face serious investigation for ‘super cover-up’

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, D., must resign, Judge Jeanine Pirro told Fox & Friends on Friday, reacting to the bombastic report that the governor hid the deaths in the Trump administration’s nursing homes.

“There was criminal behavior before it was released. What you had was a governor, he is a liar, a political aggressor and … he made the decision to infect the most vulnerable in our society by sending patients infected with COVID. This is a no-brainer there. He knew what was going on, he signed the mandate, he tried to blame everyone, including the president, for this, but he was wrong about that, “said the host of” Justice with Judge Jeanine ” .

A senior adviser to Cuomo told top state Democratic lawmakers that the government had concealed data on COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes to avoid federal scrutiny, according to a new report by the New York Post. The revelation sparked condemnations and even rumors about impeachment in Albany, the state capital. Rep. Lee Zeldin, RN.Y., wants the Department of Justice to open an obstruction to the investigation of justice.

“I asked Governor Cuomo to resign, I think it will probably look like criminal behavior,” MP Claudia Tenney, RN.Y., told Fox & Friends at the beginning of the program.

CUOMO ADMIN SAYS THAT TOTAL CORONAVIRUS DEATHS IN NURSING HOUSES IS EVEN GREATER

Tenney called on former Attorney General William Barr to investigate deaths in nursing homes since April and May. Although Tenney has been alerted to the issue since the beginning of March and has raised awareness on radio and television since then, he was “ignored”.

“The families of thousands of elderly people killed in New York deserve responsibility and justice for the real consequences of the policy of the nursing home fatally failed by Governor Cuomo and the continuous attempts to cover it up. Of course, what is happening here is criminal,” he said.

The New York Post reported for the first time that Melissa DeRosa, the governor’s secretary, told leader Empire State Democrats that the government feared that the data could “be used against us” by the Justice Department during a video conference. The DOJ began investigating coronavirus deaths in nursing homes in four states in August – and New York was one of them.

Pirro said Cuomo was “delaying” sending information to lawmakers about deaths in nursing homes and claiming that “there was no problem”. She said the new report points to a “super cover-up”, in which her own aide is admitting that the information was withheld due to an investigation into the matter.

“If you want an intention, you have an intention that is so strong here … Good for the attorney general in New York, but I will not applaud it until there is a grand jury investigating this matter and it depends on the prosecutor- general. The feds can do that too, “said Pirro.
