Rachel Bush, wife of Buffalo Bills security guard Jordan Poyer, said on Sunday that she was harassed by Kansas City Chiefs fans during the 2021 AFC Championship game.
Bush, who saw the bills fall to the Chiefs, 38-24, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, drew attention to the alleged behavior in a series of deleted tweets, according to TMZ.
“Those fans of drunk bosses behind me knowing full well that I’m a wife saying s – t directly to me smh yuck,” Bush wrote.
In a separate message, Bush wrote: “I have NEVER gotten involved in this with fans, but holy shit … disrespectful … embarrassing …”
Bush later clarified that “not all Chiefs fans are horrible”, noting that some were kind.
“For the record too, since I know what articles will be written lol – not all Chiefs fans are horrible lol – some were so cool!
“The rest of their own fan base around was even embarrassed, so that’s it lol,” she continued.
Bush later praised Poyer, 28.
“A proud wife tonight. He said he was going to give it his all and he sure did, ” Bush tweeted.
“But all year round. Like how are you going to turn off all the lights in each game “, she added.
Last month, Bush censored the Pro Bowl voting process after Poyer did not receive a nod.
The Chiefs will now face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Super Bowl 2021 on Sunday, February 7, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
