Jonah Hill beats back on the beach day photos focused on her body: ‘I can’t change anymore’

Jonah Hill opened his journey to self-love in an Instagram post while clapping a tabloid for sharing photos of him surfing.

Hill shared a screenshot he picked up from the Daily Mail on Friday, which highlighted his recent visit to the beach with an article title he called Hill’s “black wetsuit” and “going shirtless to dry off” in Malibu.

The 37-year-old actor wrote a detailed caption in response to the article that revealed that he would not take his shirt off at the beach or pool due to body image problems.

“I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool before I was 30, even in front of family and friends,” Hill said to his 2.3 million followers. “It probably would have happened earlier if my childhood insecurities were not exacerbated by years of public mockery about my body by the press and interviewers.”

“So the idea that the media is trying to trick me by chasing me while surfing and printing photos like this and it can’t really shake me anymore is a drug,” he continued, although the article did not comment directly on his appearance.

However, the “Superbad” star noted that, at his current age, he finally loves and accepts himself.

“This is not a ‘good for me’ post. And it’s definitely not a ‘feel bad for me’ post,” continued Hill. “It’s for kids who don’t take their shirts off in the pool.”

“You are wonderful, incredible and perfect,” he wrote. “All my Love.”

The actor also left a postscript he directed in the Daily Mail before completing his caption, which read, “Oh and Daily Mail, you can’t even get that smile off my face.”
