Happy birthday, Ella Travolta!
On Saturday, John Travolta celebrated his daughter’s 21st birthday by sharing a smiling portrait of his eldest son, who he shared with his late wife Kelly Preston. “Happy 21st birthday to the most beautiful, kind human and artist I know. Your father loves you!” the actor wrote on Instagram.
Many famous friends filled the couple’s father and daughter with love in the comment section, including actress Sharon Stone, who called Ella “dazzling”.
“Happy birthday, not so much boy …”, wrote rocker Tommy Lee.
This year marks Ella’s first birthday after the death of her mother, who died in July 2020 after a two-year private battle against breast cancer. She was 57 years old.
Travolta is also the father of 10-year-old son Benjamin, who he shared with Preston.

Travolta’s sweet words to Ella came two months after she paid a loving tribute on her 67th birthday in February.
“Happy birthday to the most amazing man I have ever met. You are not only the best father of all time, but also my best friend,” wrote Ella in her touching note. “Thank you for creating us, helping us and loving us and thank you for all the good you do every day. The world is so lucky to have you and us too. I love you, Daddy. I had the best time to celebrate yours birthday with you yesterday. ❤️❤️❤️. “

Travolta previously talked to PEOPLE about how he couldn’t be more proud of his daughter, who decided to follow in the footsteps of her famous parents and continue acting. Ella starred in The poisonous rose, a thriller starring his father and Morgan Freeman.
“She owns herself. She’s graceful, generous, balanced, graceful and beautiful. I don’t know how she became, and I don’t get any credit other than to adore her,” the proud father shared. “And perhaps it is a valid contribution.”
