John Stamos pays tribute to Elizabeth Olsen for the end of ‘WandaVision’

Have mercy! John Stamos gave a lovely shout to Elizabeth Olsen on her Instagram on Friday, in honor of the ending to “WandaVision”.

Olsen’s two older sisters – a connection that somehow surprised a lot of the internet – Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen starred alongside Stamos in “Full House” for all eight seasons of the show, sharing the role of Michelle Tanner . During those eight years, Elizabeth Olsen appeared behind the scenes – a lot.

In an interview with SiriusXM in January, Olsen joked “My first memories of this program are mostly taken care of after school”. According to the actress, she was usually picked up at school and went straight to the set to be with her family. Then, in honor of the ending of “WandaVision” on Friday, Stamos sent him a little love, along with a lovely backward photo of him hugging a young Olsen.

See the photo above.

“One day she is a little girl wandering the set, and the next thing you know, she is taking over an entire city, mentally controlling citizens to play their favorite TV series! Stamos put a caption on the photo. “They grow up so fast ..”

“WandaVision” itself had a brief tribute to “Full House” in the fifth episode of the season. In the opening credits, the camera shows Wanda and Vision running across the grass with their children Billy and Tommy, mirroring the scene of the Tanner family doing the same in the first sequence of the title “Full House”.

Shortly afterwards, the Vision family is sitting for a picnic in the same small field, just as the Tanners did at the end of the title montage.

Many fans also believe that the choice of Wanda and Vision to become parents of twins in the 80s-themed episode is also a tribute to “Full House”, in honor of Olsen’s twin sisters. (While it is convenient, it is actually part of the Marvel comic that Wanda and Vision have twins).
