“I almost cried five times during this,” John told Andy Cohen on SiriusXM. “I mean, I was on the verge of tears five times, because if you understand what this business / industry / lifestyle does to a person. Going through it and going out on the other side OK, is having infinite grace for those who fight thereby. “

“I did well … I have a very strong feeling that part of it is because I’m a man,” he continued. “And I have a very strong feeling that many of these things that happen to women are endemic to women.”

However, some people did not believe John’s comments – given their own treatment of women in the public eye.

John made disparaging comments about Jessica, telling Playboy in 2010: “Sexually it was crazy. That’s all I will say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm. Did you ever say, ‘I want to get out of my life and just snort, damn you ? If you charged me $ 10,000 to fuck you, I would start selling all my shit just to keep fucking you. ‘”

As for Jessica, she wrote in her memoirs of John: “Repeatedly, he told me he was obsessed with me, sexually and emotionally.”

Jessica refers to this as: “The beginning of me relying on alcohol to mask my nerves.” Jessica then says that she told John that she drank too much, but he would have just given her Xanax.

Another name people mentioned was Taylor Swift, whom John dated when he was 32 and she was 19.

something that is not discussed enough is that “watch out, she will write a song about you” jokes and the narrative “Taylor Swift is crazy and obsessed with boys” was mainly fed by John Mayer after she (19) wrote a song detailing your (32) emotional abuse

Did John ever apologize to Jessica and the way he talked about women in general? In interviews, he SUCCESSFULLY avoided Taylor’s age difference controversy JUST TO TURN ON and release a song about her years later (2013), when he saw that the media was after her for “dating many men” https: // t .co / WXLu1YPpCa
