Joe Judge offers strong support to Daniel Jones publicly and privately

New York Giants coach Joe Judge has seemed like a broken record at times, praising defender Daniel Jones and insisting that the team is committed to the 23-year-old.

Even when the NFL quarterback carousel started to spin this off-season, Judge did not blink.

“We have confidence in Daniel, he is a player we want to work with in attacking this team. He showed us many improvements, there are many things. I can talk nonstop about how we respect and like it and how the locker room responds to it, but the simple answer is no, [our stance on Jones has not changed], ”Judge told reporters at the start of the free agency.

No matter how many times Judge repeats himself, there seems to be a lot of unbelievers – people who think the coach is just carrying the company line.

The judge never gave that impression, but for those who refuse to see Jones’ good points, they simply cannot believe what they are hearing. In particular, they thought, there is no way for Judge to be such a staunch supporter of Jones.

Unsurprisingly, these opponents are wrong.

Retired NFL wide receiver and current media personality, Nate Burleson, recently chatted with Judge while his children played basketball for Don Bosco Prep. One of the first questions Burleson asked Judge was about Jones.

Judge did not hesitate to answer Burleson’s question, immediately pointing out that the team needs to do more in support of Jones.

“I asked him what is going on with Daniel Jones, and he said, ‘It is up to us to help him train and get more weapons,'” Burleson told the New York Post.

It is one of the reasons why the Giants signed to superstar wide receiver Kenny Golladay and running back Devontae Booker to support Saquon Barkley. That’s also why they added tight end Kyle Rudolph and speedy wide receiver John Ross.

Of course, Judge and the Giants meant what they said about Jones. You can see it in your personal movements and now, finally, you have proof that Judge is saying the same things in particular that he is saying publicly.
