Jodie Foster raised his eyebrows as he thanked Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers during his Golden Globe acceptance speech for best supporting actress in “The Mauritanian”.

So what was all this about?

Foster excitedly explained behind the scenes in the Golden Globe’s virtual media room about the call for Rodgers, who happens to be engaged to Foster’s co-star in “The Mauritanian” Shailene Woodley. She may love Rodgers even more than Woodley, leading to that special calling.

And Rodgers thanked Jodie Foster in his MVP acceptance speech.

“I decided, not only am I a big fan of Packers, but also a fan of competitive MVP (of) Aaron Rodgers,” joked Foster, who has long proclaimed allegiance to the Wisconsin football team.

Foster denied reports that he introduced Woodley to Rodgers. The actress never met him. “I didn’t arm Shailene and Aaron. I never met Aaron Rodgers,” said Foster.

But she admitted to being especially enthusiastic about the quarterback and his team, so that may have played an important factor in igniting the flames of love.

“It is possible that I like to talk about how much I love the Green Bay Packers. Sometimes I can talk a little too much about it,” said Foster, laughing. “So it is clear that Shailene is much aware of my enthusiasm for the team. “

Foster said he is already waiting for Rodgers’ revenge. “I have a very cute video of Aaron Rodgers, where he said he will bring me back. I’m looking forward to it.

As for the pajama suit during the virtual Golden Globe, Foster showed that he did not even put on shoes during the award ceremony when he raised his bare foot to the camera behind the scenes.

“It’s exciting. I think this is the best globe ever,” said Foster. “I don’t know, but it looked real. It looks like a slumber party.”
