Ben Affleck has nothing but good things to say about ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez. In fact, his recent quotes about the superstar have made some fans wait for Bennifer 2.0.
Affleck is among the many stars who spoke Swag about why it has been a dominant force in the entertainment industry for decades. While the actor pointed to Lopez’s work ethic, he also had something funny to say about his J.Lo brilliance.
“Where do you keep the fountain of youth?” the 48-year-old Oscar winner joked. “Why do you look like 2003 and it kind of looks like I’m in my 40s … at best?”
Lopez reacted to that statement, saying to the magazine, “Ben is funny! He also looks very good.”
The founder of JLo Beauty, who said she was “in the best shape of my life” at age 51, dated Affleck for two years. They broke up in 2004. Affleck previously compared their relationship to that of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, given the public and media obsession with romance. It is clear that there is no grudge between the pair and that Lopez’s work ethic left a lasting impression on Affleck.
