Jennifer Aniston shows off the ’11 11′ tattoo she shares with Andrea Bendewald on her best friend’s birthday

Jennifer Aniston revealed the special meaning behind the ’11 11 ‘tattoo on her left wrist.

The 52-year-old actress posted a series of birthday tributes to her best friend, actress Andrea Bendewald, in her Instagram stories on Thursday, including an image displaying the corresponding ink on her wrists.

‘Happy birthday to my eternal sister from another gentleman @andreabendewald … 37 years counting. And the best is yet to come, ‘Aniston captioned a black and white retro image of the pair.

The Morning Show star told The New York Times in 2019 that Bendewald, 51, is her “oldest friend” and also stars alongside her in the hit drama series Apple TV +.

Andrea plays the makeup artist for Jennifer’s character, Alex Levy.

Bendewald, who starred in the 1990s Brooke Shield sitcom Suddenly Susan, also made an appearance in the Friends episode, The One with the Cheap Wedding Dress, as the bride trying to steal Monica’s dream dress.

Aniston also shared a recent behind-the-scenes photo of the couple hugging on the set with Jennifer in a protective mask and Andrea in a protective mask.

She captioned the image with three red hearts.

Other photos included a group photo with Morning Show executive producer Kristin Hahn with a ‘Happy Birthday’ sticker, as well as a spontaneous photo of Andrea posing in front of a ‘Be open’ sign with the caption: ‘ I love you !!’

Aniston first showed her ’11 11 ‘wrist tattoo at the premiere of The Morning Show in New York in 2019. Fans were able to get a closer look at the ink during a conversation with Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow for the Variety’s Actors on Actors series last year.

At the time, a source told People that the actress is’ very spiritual ‘and believes that the numbers bring good luck:’ The number 11 is also special to her because of her birthday and [her dog] Norman.’

The source added that the Horrible Bosses star ‘still misses’ his beloved Welsh Corgie-Terrier, who died in 2011. His birthday is February 11.

She initially paid tribute to Norman by getting her first tattoo in 2011: his name written on the inside of her foot in cursive.

Bendewald also posted the ink snapshot of the duo’s best friend on his own Instagram last month in honor of Jennifer’s 52nd birthday.
