If you noticed Jennifer Aniston’s trend briefly on Saturday, it wasn’t just the nation sinking into a nice, relaxing postnatal period Friends devotion. According USA today, a Morning program the actress posted an expired Instagram story with an engraved wooden ornament that said: “Our first pandemic in 2020”. After the image appeared on social media, some people wondered if Jen’s festive celebration of our truly classified year was a relatable, darkly funny or heartless moment, considering the more than 19 million people who have contracted COVID-19 so far. But one thing is certain: this thing is macabre. Our “first” pandemic? This ornament is not wrong, but I need not say it.
