The JBL SA750 is a new stereo amplifier that combines modern streaming technologies like Airplay 2 and Google Chromecast with a design that would not look out of place in a 60’s or 70’s hi-fi rack. It has a robust-looking set of dials and switches and comforting as physical controls, a discreet screen and its sides are lined with wood veneers. The amplifier, whose launch coincides with JBL’s 75th anniversary, will cost $ 3,000 when it goes on sale in early May.
Along with its wireless connectivity, which includes support for UPnP along with Apple and Google protocols, the JBL SA750 has all the wired inputs you expect. There are six pairs of analog RCA inputs, a 3.5 mm aux input and two optical and two digital coaxial inputs along with USB and Ethernet.

As a stand-alone stereo amplifier, you will need to connect a separate set of speakers to hear the JBL SA750. For this, it has two pairs of terminal block speaker connectors and can produce up to 220W of power per channel. We are sure that JBL would love to sell you a pair of its new L100 Classic 75 speakers to use with it, but for $ 5,500 a pair, they are far from an economical choice.
