And the model has since had to issue another statement, after apparently having suffered some negative reaction.

She clarified her support for the ‘Latinx community’ on Monday, reading her story on Instagram after defending her father’s wife Alec Baldwin for pretending to be from Spain.

The 25 year old wrote: ‘I just want to say this and nothing more. I fully support any individual in the Latinx community. I will continue to listen and learn. ‘

There appeared to be some confusion in his statement, as Hilaria was denounced as a native of Massachusetts, after claiming to be from Majorca, Spain, which is not part of Latin America.

Ireland continued: ‘But I am also on the defensive when disinformation spreads over my family. I will do better … At the same time, I hope people can start getting information from reliable sources. ‘

She had previously accessed Instagram Story Sunday to clear things up and defend her stepmother, after the mother of five announced that she would be hanging up for a while.

The Grudge Match actress restored a Christmas photo of Hilaria, 36, and father Alec Baldwin, 62, with daughter Carmen, seven, children Rafael, five, Leonardo, four, Romeo, two, and Eduardo, three months old.
