Inside Matt James and Tyler Cameron’s bachelor apartment in NYC

Matt James and Tyler Cameron have Manhattan’s best “bachelor” apartment.

Bachelor Nation heartthrobs are roommates in a chic apartment in One Manhattan Square on the Lower East Side, a source told Page Six exclusively.

We are told that its two-bedroom, two-bathroom corner unit faces the city center towards the financial district and also offers views of the river.

A similar unit in the building costs $ 1.96 million, meaning the rent is about $ 8,000 a month.

A source confirmed to us that although James, 29, and Cameron, 27, appear as spokesmen on One Manhattan Square’s Instagram, they still pay the rent for the luxurious apartment, although it is unclear how much.

“They 100% don’t live there for free,” said the source. “From my understanding, there is no counterpart in posting.”

One Manhattan Square has 800 residences, ranging from one to three bedrooms, and the building is shaped like a Z, so almost “all units have a view”.

The building also houses the largest private amenity space in the city, at over 100,000 square feet with an indoor saltwater pool, a peaceful garden, a gym with sauna and a theater.

“Matt and Tyler usually play a lot of basketball with other residents,” said a source.

Cameron moved to One Manhattan Square in the fall of 2019 and has been open about where he lives on social media. With him and James boasting about 3 million followers combined, we are told that some fans have tried to take a look at the stars of “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette”.

“No one has definitely infiltrated the building, but some fans have walked or discovered the building because of it,” said a source.

However, influencers with many followers are not out of the ordinary at One Manhattan Square. Celebrity trainer Isaac Boots also lives there.

We have been told that residents do not seem to mind having a famous face nearby, and that Cameron, especially, is very dear because he has become part of the building community.

“During the pandemic, Tyler offered a virtual gym class to residents of the building,” said a source. “As I understand it, it was a welcome greeting to all residents, especially as he was so kind to his time and presented this class to residents, which I think was one of the most viewed classes

Page Six learned that ex-“bachelor” Peter Weber, who just moved to New York after his separation from Kelley Flanagan, did not follow in Cameron and James’s footsteps in One Manhattan Square.

However, there is a chance that Cameron will be looking for a new roommate soon. James’ “The Bachelor” season is currently airing on ABC, so it remains to be seen whether he will become engaged and give up his dream “Bachelor” house to move in with his new fiance.
