LeBron James and Larry King are two names that are now ingrained in American public consciousness. Larry King was a true broadcasting legend. An active man as an announcer for about three quarters of his entire life, King was an interviewer par excellence.
One of his most enlightening interviews was with the hottest name in basketball. James was at the peak of his athletic career, but he hadn’t been to the NBA finals in three years. Speculation about his next destination was on all NBA forums.

When LeBron James talked about his relationship with his father in an interview with Larry King
For anyone who has had to live a childhood without parents, it is a delicate subject to talk about. LeBron James was no different. The son of a teenage mother and leading a lifetime with an absent father, James became a model citizen.
James told King that he was never interested in meeting his father. He didn’t even ask his mom why his dad wasn’t around until a certain age:
“I never thought about my father. She (Gloria James) was doing everything I could dream of. It was a time when Christmas came and my birthday came, and I think I may have one or two gifts or I may not receive anything because I understand the struggle, and it will be a floor full of things. There was no reason for me to ask, ‘Mom, where is my dad’ why she was doing everything. “

Suffice it to say that James is an excellent father who is giving his children the best possible life. LeBron fits the description of the perfect father better than most celebrities – Dwight Howard is a good example.
