Hitman 3 players encounter server problems on launch day

IO Interactive released Hitman 3 yesterday, and although it should be a triumph close to an arc of history that started with 2016 Hitman game, players were duped by server problems. To continue the progress of the first two games, players can carry data (within the same platform family) by synchronizing the progress of Hitman 2 through the IOI Profile website, as detailed in the pre-launch guide. There is a separate process for accessing previous game levels which is a little tricky to address here /

However, the progression transfer site has been slow or unavailable (at the time of writing, it appears to be completely unresponsive), as every day a buyer tries to use it at the same time. Worse, if players have not been successful in transporting their data, they have little choice but to wait, as the process will eliminate any progress made in Hitman 3 before making the transfer.
