CBS ‘formidable NCIS the drama franchise is expanding again. Negotiations are still being finalized, but I heard that the network is getting ready NCIS: Hawaii, a new installment of the successful procedural franchise.
Executive created / produced by NCIS: New Orleans executive producers / showrunner Christopher Silber and Jan Nash alsoSEAL Team writer and producer Matt Bosack, the project is expected to feature a new team based in Hawaii. Unlike other ramifications NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans, I heard that there are no current plans to NCIS: Hawaii to be introduced as a spinoff planted from each other NCIS Series. CBS and the studio behind the NCIS franchise, CBS Studios, declined to comment.
If NCIS: Hawaii goes to the series and the existing one NCIS all series are renewed, NCIS could join Law and order as the second drama franchise with four series on the air at the same time. Word of the new NCIS installment comes as another blockbuster police drama franchise from CBS, CSI, is planning a comeback with a series of revivals, CSI: Vegas, that is approaching a green light. It would be the fifth CSI parcel following the original series CSI: Crime scene investigation, as CSI: Miami, CSI: New York and CSI: Cyber.
