Halsey is offering an insight into his mindset while waiting for his first child.
The 26-year-old “Closer” singer went to Instagram on Thursday, February 18, to post a photo carousel, including a photo showing her growing belly and several photos of food. She included a message about how her pregnancy is making her feel about her body and her pre-existing concept of gender.
“February is the shortest month, but the days seem to be taking too long,” she wrote. “Is Masttttt going so fast too ?! I’ve been thinking a lot about my body. It’s weird to see herself changing so quickly. I thought pregnancy would give me very strong binary feelings about ‘femininity’, but it really leveled my gender perception entirely . “
She continued: “My sensitivity to my body has made me hyperconscious of my humanity and that is all. Doing something remarkable. And it is great. I hope the feeling lasts. I cook a lot, sleep even more and read many books. I miss it. of my family. And yours too! “
