‘Gorilla Glue Girl’ Tessica Brown receiving Loni Love wig

She is’ doing good.

Comedian Loni Love says she is giving a custom-made wig to the Louisiana woman who was hospitalized last week for using Gorilla Glue to style her hair, according to a report.

The amusing 49-year-old said she “feels empathy” for Tessica Brown, whose hair was stuck together after using the industrial patch as an improvised hair product, according to NBC LX.

“We black women know how difficult it is, our hair is so important,” said Love in a clip that aired on Friday. “I am one of the few black women – me and I think Whoopi Goldberg – [who] In fact, we use our hair in braids or wicks because it is traditionally known for not being professional. But times are changing, ”she said. “So I have total empathy for Tessica and I want to help.”

Love, who co-hosts the “The Real” talk show, noted that Brown had the glue removed by a plastic surgeon – and may need a good wig.

“I’m offering her a wig. I have a wonderful wig maker who will make a wig with your style, ”she said.

Brown became a viral sensation earlier this month, after she posted a TikTok video explaining that her hair was stuck in place for a month – a confession that resonated with some women of color.

“Look: my hair, don’t move. Do you hear what I’m telling you? Don’t move, ”she says in a clip, adding that her scalp burns with pain.

A plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills then offered to help her take off her hair in a four-hour procedure this week.

Brown images after the surgery show her running her fingers through her hair for the first time in more than a month.
