‘Gorilla Glue girl’ GoFundMe Tessica Brown reaches $ 20,000

Gorilla Glue girl Tessica Brown’s GoFundMe page topped more than $ 20,000 in donations on Thursday after doctors finally removed the sticky material through surgery.

The 40-year-old woman from Louisiana – whose hair was stuck for a month after she used the superglue as a substitute for hair spray – started fundraising on Monday.

She raised more than $ 13,000 in just one day – and on Thursday afternoon, that number rose to $ 20,577.

The fundraiser – initiated by Brown and a relative and using a photo of her visit to the ER – did not detail what she would use the money for.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Michael Obeng offered to perform Brown’s surgery – a $ 12,500 procedure – for free after hearing about the terrible ordeal.

“How is it to feel your hair like that again?” someone can be heard asking Brown after the four-hour procedure, in a footage posted by TMZ.

“Now I wish I had waited to cut my ponytail,” says Brown.

Brown has a lawyer and is considering litigation against Gorilla Glue.
