Georgia’s Equestrian No. 4 kicks off the season on February 6 against South Carolina | sports

Georgia’s equestrian team will continue into the spring season of 2021 with their first home game against South Carolina No. 3 on February 6. The Bulldogs lost to South Carolina 11-8 in their competition last fall.

Georgia is entering fourth place this season, with five tournaments to compete during the spring, before hosting the SEC championship from March 26 to 28. Bulldogs will face nationally ranked teams from South Carolina, Auburn and Texas A&M.

The Georgia Jumping Seat squadron will host Sweet Briar College on Friday, February 19. Georgia will host its senior friendly “G-Day” to honor this year’s 2020-21 senior class the next day, February 20.

The Bulldogs then travel to face No. 1 Auburn on February 27 and No. 7 Texas A&M on March 6 to complete the regular season.

After the regular season and the SEC championship, the NCEA National Championship will be held in Waco, Texas, from April 15th to 17th.
