Senator David Perdue, R-Ga., Accused his opponent in the second round of next week’s election, Democrat Jon Ossoff, of lying by failing to disclose his commercial ties with the Chinese Communist Party.
During a conversation on Thursday with Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, Ossoff described the accusations that he did not disclose compensation from the Hong Kong company PCCW Media Limited, which is linked to the Chinese government, as “a total absurd” .
“This question needs to be asked, but it is not asked by any liberal media out there,” Perdue told “America’s News HQ”
“It’s amazing to me that you can have the Eric Swalwell crisis, the Hunter Biden crisis and ignore the Jon Ossoff crisis,” Perdue told America’s News HQ. “This is clearly a pattern of activity for the Chinese Communist Party. They identified Jon Ossoff after his 2017 attempt to run for the US House … They identified him as an ambitious young politician on the Democratic side with whom they could probably gain influence.
REPUBLICANS OF GEORGIA ACCUSE OSSOFF OF NOT REPORTING PAYMENTS FROM THE COMPANY CONNECTED TO CHINA
“So they hired him and he worked for two years for this Chinese Communist Party propaganda company … and he hid it from the people of Georgia during his primaries,” continued Perdue. “He could not have won that primary, if he had fully revealed it. He was caught. He did not reveal it, he lied about it and lied about it again.
“And he still hasn’t answered Peter’s question, if you noticed that,” continued the Republican. “He never answered that question.”

Perdue, who is in quarantine after an employee tested positive for coronavirus, told Fox News that he and his wife tested negative.
“We had a positive test from someone yesterday [Thursday] morning, and according to CDC guidelines and our doctor’s recommendations … we decided to quarantine these last few days, “he explained.” It is a terrible time, but we will not miss a step. We will participate in all of these events as if I were there. “
