Georgia Electoral Council Member Says Trump Could Be Charged With Requesting Election Fraud

“It is a crime to request electoral fraud, and asking the secretary to change votes is a classic definition of electoral fraud,” David Worley told The Washington Post, which first published the audio of Trump’s conference call on Sunday.

Worley, in a letter to Raffensperger, said the call was “likely cause” for an investigation into possible electoral code violations, citing a section of the state code that criminalizes someone else’s electoral fraud request.

“Such an incident, spread as it is in all local and national media, cannot be ignored or overlooked,” he wrote.
