Gayle King said Meghan Markle has “many recipes” to support allegations of racism.
“I think Meghan has a lot of receipts, which means she’s keeping track of things,” said the co-host of “CBS This Morning”, quoted by Briton The Sun on Thursday.
During Sunday’s television interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess of Sussex, who is biracial, stated that when she first became pregnant with Archie, there were “concerns and conversations about how her skin might turn dark when he is born”.
Her husband, Prince Harry, 36, later told Winfrey, 67, that her grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, were not responsible for the shocking statements.
Markle, 39, also revealed that she was so isolated and miserable as a working member of the British royal family that she had thoughts of suicide. However, when she requested mental health assistance from the palace’s human resources staff, the duchess was told that they could not help because she was not a paid employee.

The interview was attended by almost 50 million people worldwide.
On Thursday, Markle’s brother-in-law, Prince William, who is second in line to the throne, insisted that his family is not racist.
The 38-year-old man was the first British royalty to speak about the accusations of intolerance made by Markle and her younger brother.
William made the comments in response to questions asked to him by reporters during a visit to an East London school. Although members of the royal family often ignore these questions, William took the opportunity to address the explosive claims that rocked the monarchy.

“We are not a racist family,” said William as his wife, Kate Middleton, walked beside him.
Thirty-six hours after the comments first aired over the weekend, the palace issued a written statement on behalf of the queen, 94.
“The whole family is saddened to learn how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” said the palace. “The issues raised, particularly those of race, are worrisome. Although some memories may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family in particular.”
After Harry and Markle were married in May 2018 at Windsor Castle, the royal family seemed to welcome the Duchess of Sussex, a glamorous former TV star. The pair was seen as a new youthful face for the monarchy of an increasingly multicultural nation.

It didn’t take long for the fairy tale to unravel.
The couple moved away from royal duties last year and settled in California, saying they wanted to escape racist coverage and unwanted intrusions into their privacy by the British media.
During the interview, the duke and duchess shared that they are expecting a girl this summer.
