Game of Thrones prequel adds 4 actors – / Movie

dragon cast house

HBO’s Dragon House is turning into a full house.

THE War of Thrones The prequel series, set 300 years before the events of the highly successful fantasy show, has just added four more names to its cast – including someone who is playing an intriguing character dubbed “The Sea Snake”. See the details below.

HBO revealed that Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Rhys Ifans, and Sonoya Mizuno are the last actors to join the Dragon House fused. Here’s who they’ll be playing.

Toussaint, who you can recognize for his role as Kenneth Logan in Steve McQueen’s recent film Small Ax installment Red, white and blue, is playing Lord Corlys Velaryon, also known as “The Sea Snake”.

The lord of Casa Velaryon, a Valyrian lineage as old as Casa Targaryen, “The Sea Snake”, is the most famous nautical adventurer in the history of Westeros. He transformed his home into a powerful seat that is even richer than the Lannisters and that claims the largest navy in the world.

Best appeared recently in the Netflix fantasy series Destiny: the Winx saga. She will play Princess Rhaenys Velaryon.

Dragon knight and wife of Lord Corlys Velaryon, “The Queen Who Never Was” was passed over as heir to the throne in the Great Council because the kingdom favored her cousin, Viserys, simply because he was a man.

Ifans, who appeared in The Amazing Spiderman and Notting hill, is playing Otto Hightower.

[Otto is] the Hand of the King, who loyally and faithfully serves his king and his kingdom. In the opinion of the Hand, the greatest threat to the kingdom is the king’s brother, Daemon, and his position as heir to the throne.

And finally, you’ll recognize Mizuno for his lead role in Devs and support pieces in Ex Machina and Manic. She will play a character called Mysaria.

She came to Westeros with nothing, sold more times than she can remember and could have withered … but instead, she became the most trusted – and most unlikely – ally of Prince Daemon Targaryen, the heir to the throne.

They will join Paddy Considine (Hot Fuzz), Matt smith (Doctor who), and Emma D’Arcy (Seekers of Truth), who had previously been cast as members of the Targaryen House. Considine will take over the crown and play King Viserys Targaryen; Smith will play the heir to the throne riding a dragon, Prince Daemon Targaryen; and D’Arcy is playing Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, who is also a dragon maker. Actress Olivia Cooke (Metal sound) will play the daughter of Otto Hightower, a politically experienced woman who is described as “the most beautiful woman in the Seven Kingdoms”.

The show starts production in April and is expected to debut on HBO sometime 2022.
