Fossil sword and shield Pokémon appear as most

The Pokémon Company will release four new Pokémon-inspired plushes from Sword and Shield on April 29, 2021 in Japan. They are the four fossils of Pokémon Arctozolt, Dracozolt, Dracovish and Arctovish. The stuffed animals are part of the Pokémon Dolls merchandise collection offered by The Pokémon Company. They will be sold for 1,320 yen (about $ 11.90) each.

Similar to the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs in London, the four Pokémon fossils of Pokémon Sword and Shield they are totally inaccurate representations of what they were like in life. Thanks to Dr. Cara Liss alternating their body parts, Pokémon have difficulty with basic biological functions. For example, Dracovish cannot breathe unless he is underwater, and Arctovish’s mouth is on the top of his head. However, Pokémon plushes, with their round shapes and cartoon eyes, offer a more adorable approach, rather than the potentially terrifying depictions in the game.

Pokémon fossils are gaining a lot of prominence. Not only will they appear in a plush form, but they also made their anime debut in early 2021. Episode 50 of Pokémon Journeys: The Series followed Ash and Goh by meeting Dr. Cara Liss and obtaining her own fossil Pokémon. Arctozolt joined Goh’s team, while Dracovish joined Ash’s. This marked Ash’s first fossil Pokémon since the series began in 1997.

Pokémon Dolls are a collection of Pokémon plushes similar to the Comfy Friends series launched in 2020. Other products launched in early 2021 include items such as the Sweet Scent product line and spring-inspired kitchenware.

The fossil Pokémon plushes of Sword and Shield will appear in physical stores in Japan on April 29. However, if you want to buy them from the online store, they will appear on April 27, 2021. There is still no worldwide release date for them.
