Fortnite season 6 unlimited health failure revealed

For more than a year, Fortnite controller players have complained about a frustrating inventory bug. Finally, after months of silence, Epic recognized the problem.

Fortnite is one of the first and only games to bring the cross platform to competitive play. Control players on all platforms compete on the same support as PC players on the mouse and keyboard.

You can mention the advantages and disadvantages of each entry, but there are some things that are outside the typical “balance” conversation. One of these things is a bug that has affected controlling players for over a year.

Epic responds to longstanding Fortnite controller bug

This controller inventory bug has been in the game since NICKMERCS was still broadcasting Fortnite every day.

For the life of Fortnite, controlling players would open their inventory to find the cursor in their first slot. From there, there was consistency as to where you wanted to move your weapons and items or leave materials for a teammate.

A bug appeared more than a year ago, causing the controlling players to have their item equipped being the first thing selected when opening their inventory. What’s worse is that sometimes items were selected and the screen froze, forcing you to go back and re-enter the inventory.

This, of course, generated a lot of frustration in the community. Several Reddit topics appeared featuring and complaining about the bug, but Epic never seemed to notice.

This was the case until Redditor gh0stly2 marked the Epic development team in the comments for one of these posts. “We know you see these things,” he wrote, “and it is really unacceptable to be in the game for an entire year. Get rid of it. “

To his surprise, the team responded, saying, “Thanks for the etiquette and getting our attention. Watching now ”, and confirming that they are tracking the problem.

At the time of writing, the issue has not yet been posted to the Trello board of Fortnite community issues, but the Reddit post was only one day old. We hope to see the problem resolved in a future patch, as Epic still needs to do some investigations.

This change may be arriving a little late, but it is good to know that Epic is finally investigating the problem and working to fix it. For now, that’s all we can ask for.
