Although its main area of safety is the West Coast, the airline now operates transcontinental flights from several cities on the East Coast. It is not as big as the major airlines in the United States, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and Southwest Airlines, but Alaska is publicizing its name on a large scale.

And before I even got to the airport, I was forced to acknowledge a health deal. Standard for most major US airlines now, I had to claim that I haven’t tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days, haven’t been exposed to the virus in the past 10 days, and haven’t exhibited symptoms in the past three days, in addition to agree with the airline’s mask policy.
