Final Fantasy VII Remake Yuffie detailed DLC, will have two chapters in length

Final Fantasy VII Remake Yuffie DLC

Square Enix has released some finer details about the Yuffie Episode – the Final Fantasy VII Remake DLC that will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 as soon as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is released this summer. As shown in the reveal trailer, you will be playing as the young ninja throughout this adventure, and you will be accompanied by a new character called Sonon.

Sonon is not fully playable in battle, but Yuffie will be able to carry out tag team attacks with his help. Furthermore, Yuffie’s giant shuriken weapon allows her to fight at any range, which should allow for some degree of strategy.

As for the story of Episode Yuffie, all we know is that it will be divided into two ‘chapters’. Obviously, we don’t know how long these chapters will be, but if it’s something like the main game, then we would probably bet that this DLC would only be a few hours long at most. I hope it’s fun while it lasts.

We don’t know how expensive Episode Yuffie will be – just that it needs to be purchased separately from Remake Intergrade. We will undoubtedly receive much more information in the coming months.

Oh, and that nervous-looking guy with the crazy hair from the trailer? More dedicated fans may have already recognized him: his name is Weiss, and he is from the dark PS2 title Dirge of Cerberus. Fortunately, it doesn’t look like Weiss will be part of the DLC narrative. Instead, he was set to be a powerful boss you can fight against in the game’s VR arena. Ufa.
