The woman, Dawn Bancroft, was accused along with Diana Santos-Smith of violent entry into the Capitol grounds, stay in a restricted area and disorderly conduct in a restricted building.
In a sworn statement, investigators cited a “selfie” video that they say was made by Bancroft. Investigators say she is heard saying, “We broke into the Capitol … We went in, we did our part.”
“We were looking for Nancy to shoot her in the brain, but we didn’t find her,” said Bancroft, according to the statement.
Santos-Smith told investigators that she and Bancroft did not enter any chamber or office and that the two remained inside the Capitol for less than a minute.
CNN contacted Bancroft and Santos-Smith for comment, but did not receive an immediate response. According to the Justice Department, the two women were arrested on Friday.
