The first full week of the season (after a short Week 1) is light, with only one team playing seven games. Puts the sleeping recommendations on an equal footing, with clashes having the greatest voice.
There are two teams, however, that can carry an even lighter load because of the COVID-19. An outbreak for Nacional canceled its opening series against the Mets and already canceled the first game in its series of three games against Braves in Week 2 (April 5-11). My suspicion is that they will be able to play the last two games of the Braves series, needing the first just to return to the field and do some training, but so far they have been doing it day by day.
Kyle Schwarber, Josh Harrison, Alex Avila and Jon Lester are among the players who are not supposed to be available for the Braves series, with several others expected to be dropped from the cast due to contact tracking. In addition to especially sophisticated types like Juan Soto and Trea Turner, it will be difficult to start any of your nationals with so little information available yet. Even starting Braves carries some risks, but at least you know who will be active for them if these two games are played as scheduled.
As I said before, most of you have no reason to stray from the players you’ve chosen to fill your roster, but when the need arises, this list has it all for you. All of these players are climbed by less than 75 percent of the CBS Sports leagues.
