Evan Rachel Wood accuses Marilyn Manson of abusing her

For the first time, Evan Rachel Wood is naming her alleged attacker.

On Monday morning, the “Westworld” Emmy nominee unleashed a bombshell about horrific abuses she claims to have suffered during a relationship with musician Marilyn Manson.

“My attacker’s name is Brian Warner,” she wrote on Instagram and in a statement to Vanity Fair.

“Also known worldwide as Marilyn Manson. He started to prepare me when I was a teenager and he abused me terribly for years, ”continued the 33-year-old actress. “I was brainwashed and manipulated until submission. I’m tired of living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and summon the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins more lives. I am with the many victims who will no longer be silent. “

Wood began a romantic relationship with the gothic singer as a teenager, although the pair stayed quiet until Wood turned 19. Manson, now 52, was 38 when the couple graduated. In 2010, they were briefly engaged before giving up.

But it was not until years later that rumors emerged that Manson had prepared Wood for an abusive and sneaky relationship.

Last fall, Manson abruptly ended an interview with British music website Metal Hammer when the reporter mentioned Wood’s name. The rockers’ group later issued a long statement, denying all allegations of abuse.

“Manson has never shied away from public comment – likewise, he doesn’t have to make ‘the same comment twice’,” said his spokesman at the time.

Manson and Wood’s representatives did not immediately return Page Six’s request to comment on their latest statements.

Along with the recent post, she also accessed social media to share shocking stories on behalf of several other women who claim they were also treated and abused by the “Dope Show” singer – and now want him to be held “responsible”.

Wood’s message comes five years after she first spoke about an abusive relationship to Rolling Stone in 2016. In 2019, Wood helped forge the Phoenix Act of California, a project that extended the statute of limitations for domestic violence cases three to five years – and testified of his “rape and torture” during the California Senate hearing.

“I summoned up the courage to go out several times, but he called my house incessantly and threatened to kill himself,” Wood said in his statement. “On one occasion, I came back to try to calm the situation, he cornered me in our room and asked me to kneel. Then he tied me up by the hands and feet. Once I was restrained, he hit me and shocked sensitive parts of my body with a torture device called a violet wand. For him, it was a way of proving my loyalty. The pain was unbearable. It felt like I left my body and a part of me died that day. “
