Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood has publicly accused Marilyn Manson of “horribly abusing” her for years.
The actress named Manson, real name Brian Warner, in an Instagram post detailing the allegations. She had previously talked about being a domestic violence survivor, but had never before called her assailant. The two were known to have had a relationship in 2007, when she was 19 and she 38, and they had a brief engagement in 2010.
In response to Wood’s accusations, at least three other women posted their own accusations against Manson on Instagram, one of which has already deleted his post. Deadline contacted Manson’s representatives for comment; his team has denied similar charges in the past.

In the post, which is in its entirety below, Wood says Manson started preparing her as a teenager and that she was “brainwashed and manipulated to submit” by the singer. She says she wants to “expose this dangerous man and call on the many industries that have enabled him”.
Alongside his work as lead singer for the band Marilyn Manson, he has also acted in several films, including David Lynch Lost Road, and the TV series Sons of Anarchy, and Salem. Wood has been a prominent activist for domestic violence survivors, including the drafting of the Phoenix Act domestic violence bill, which was passed in California in 2019. She said she had been raped on two occasions in the past and detailed being a violence survivor. domestic. but he denied that Manson was his aggressor.
