Episode 7 of WandaVision, music video arrives in modern family territory – / Movie

WandaVision, episode 7, clip

Only a few episodes remain in the Marvel book WandaVision on Disney +, and the series is really starting to heat up. It’s not just the situation involving Wanda Maxmioff (Elizabeth olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) in the middle of a fake sitcom world that gets more dangerous and disconcerting by the minute, but there are indications of things on the horizon that could shake the structure of Marvel’s cinematic universe. One new WandaVision The clip from the show’s seventh episode reveals that after the events of the previous episode, Wanda is not quite ready to accept that everything around her is disintegrating.

After last week’s episode brought WandaVision in the early 2000s with the style of Malcolm in the middle, this week’s episode is shifting to the 2010s with a mockumentary style that resembles Modern Family. As with all previous sitcom iterations of WandaVision, even the style of the score is taken from the show in which it is inspired.

The new WandaVision clip finds Wanda accepting what happened at the end of the last episode. In a talking head, she acknowledges that she “intentionally expanded the boundaries of the false world” that she created in the middle of a New Jersey suburb. In last week’s episode, Wanda told “Pietro” that he did not remember how he was able to do something so substantial with his powers, which seemed to confirm theories that someone else might have helped her. Then again, perhaps Wanda’s pain is so significant that it blinded her. After all, she is clearly beginning to lose respect for someone else’s life in order to maintain that illusion she has created for herself.

Her children, Tommy and Billy, are seeing firsthand how unstable Wanda is becoming. While the two play video games in the living room, their controllers start to cycle through different game systems until they end up with the hands of cards Uno. Now that the Westview frontier has expanded, will the world begin to experience more flaws as Wanda struggles to maintain control?

After this episode, we bet that the reality of the sitcom that Wanda created will totally disintegrate and reach the territory of Marvel in full expansion. Now that the sitcom style has reached the more modern era, it is probably time for this volcano to explode. As for the kind of impact this will have on Marvel’s cinematic universe as a whole, that’s what we’re most excited to see.
