Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, becomes a doula trained to death after the death of her brother Benjamin

Riley Keough completed her training to become a death doula less than a year after the death of her brother Benjamin Keough.

The son of Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough died on July 12 at the age of 27. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office told Fox News that a completed autopsy determined his cause of death as “an intraoral shotgun wound.” His form of death was listed as “suicide”.

Presley’s representative, Roger Widynowski, said in a statement that the 53-year-old man was devastated.

“She is completely heartbroken, heartbroken and devastated, but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and their eldest daughter Riley,” said Widynowski in the statement. “She loved that boy. He was the love of her life.”

Keough went to Instagram on Sunday, where she shared a personal update.

“Today I finished my Doula da Morte training, in the Midwife Art of Death training course by @sacred_crossings, so I think I’m almost a certified death doula now hehe,” wrote the actress. “And I felt like writing a deep thanks to this community that is teaching and training people in the conscious work of death and death.”

“We are taught that it is a morbid subject to talk about,” continued the 31-year-old. “Or we were so afraid that we can’t talk about it … so of course it happens to us, and we are very poorly prepared. I think it is very important to be educated about conscious death and death in the way that we educate ourselves about the birth and conscious childbirth. “

“We prepare very rigorously for entry and we are not prepared for our exit”, he shared. “I am very grateful for this community and for being able to contribute with what I can.”

LISA MARIE PRESLEY HONORS THE SON AFTER BENJAMIN KEOUGH ABOUT WHAT HIS 28TH ANNIVERSARY WOULD HAVE BEEN

In October 2020, it was announced that Benjamin was buried next to his grandfather, Elvis Presley, in Graceland.

“Benjamin Storm Presley Keough was buried at the Meditation Garden in Graceland with his family, including his grandfather, Elvis Presley, great-grandmother, Gladys Presley, great-grandfather, Vernon Presley and great-grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley,” the official Facebook page of Elvis’ home on Memphis was confirmed at the time.

Since Benjamin’s death, Keough has continued to honor his beloved brother on social media.

“Mornings are the most difficult,” she wrote a week after her death on Instagram. “I forgot you were gone. I can’t cry because of the fear of never stopping. A pain that is new to me.”

“You. There are no words for you,” she continued. “Angel is as close as I could think. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Testimony of my life. Soulmate. Protector. Very sensitive to this cruel world. I hope you give me the strength to endure the giant hole you left in my heart. “

“I hope we will meet again,” concluded Keough.
