Elizabeth Olsen on hilarious secret behind Jimmy Fallon’s ‘WandaVision’ parody

Elizabeth Olsen is here to serve.

On Wednesday, the Marvel actor joined Jimmy Fallon for a parody of “WandaVision”, traveling for decades on “The Tonight Show” instead of sitcoms. And, like his Disney + show, the parody (which you can see above) has had some twists and turns.

In an interview after the sketch, Olsen talked about how the people who do their hair and makeup on “WandaVision” also helped prepare her for “FallonVision” – and how vintage clothing in particular was difficult to find in a pandemic.

“I had a bad idea for the 70s and they thought it didn’t look good enough. But they looked at my dish towel in my kitchen and said, ‘This is your shirt. You have to use this for the ’70s, ”said Olsen. “I’m using a dish towel.”

Fallon had no idea. The program tried to send a wardrobe to Olsen, but she is in London and things did not arrive on time. Still, he had no idea that she was not wearing normal clothes.

“Yes, it’s a dish towel and it just went under my armpits,” said Olsen as she and Fallon started to laugh.

The dish towel “doesn’t even remotely stick to the back,” revealed Olsen. If you watch the drawing again, you can see Olsen with her arms at her side, holding him in place.

“Oh my God. You got me. See, this is what you have to do in these times. You have to be agile. You have to be quick,” said Fallon.

With all that tea being spilled, at least Olsen has something he can use to clean it up:
