Sheeran gave the strongest hint of her album launch plans with a commemorative post on Wednesday (February 17) to mark her birthday.
He wrote: “30 today. Thank you for all your wonderful messages, I feel very loved. Currently dressed the same way he was on my third birthday, about to devour Colin, the pirate caterpillar, poor thing.
He declared: “I will be back online with the 4th edition of the series later this year, until then”.
The four-part series he is referring to is his debut + (or Most of 2011), his second album of 2014 × (Multiply) and 2017 ÷ (Share) Assuming he is completing the elementary mathematical operations of arithmetic, it is a safe bet that he will name his next effort – (Any less)
A lot has changed since Share set the graphics on fire. Sheeran married Cherry Seaborn, had her first child and, in 2019, fulfilled the longstanding dream of breaking a record with her friends, resulting in Collaboration Project No.6.
Sheeran is one of the most popular solo stars of this or any generation. All four of his complete albums went to number 1 in his homeland, and he is on a string of three albums at the top of the Billboard 200 chart.
The IFPI awarded Sheeran the 2017 Global Recording Artist Award for Share and he became the first winner to have the best-selling album and single of the year, with “Shape of You”. His tour in support of LP broke box office records worldwide and, so far, “Shape of You” is the most streamed song on Spotify with over 2.7 billion reproductions.
