EA Play arrives tomorrow on the Xbox Game Pass on PC

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play more than 60 additional games on the PC at no extra cost as of March 18. Game Pass PC and Ultimate members will finally have access to EA Play on Windows 10 starting at 5 pm Eastern Time on Thursday.

The schedule includes names like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, FIFA 20 and Heat Speed Need, along with games from the Battlefield, Madden NFL, Command & Conquer, and The Sims franchises. You will receive rewards for a few games each month and will be able to check the timed tests and play up to 10 hours of new and recent EA games. EA Play also offers discounts for the EA Desktop store.

It appeared earlier this month that Star Wars: Squadrons would arrive at EA Play in March. Subscribers will have access to the space dog fighting game starting tomorrow as well.

Playing EA Play games through a Game Pass subscription is a little tricky, at least at first. You can select a game on the Windows 10 Xbox app, but you will need the EA Desktop app to run it. You will also need to link your Xbox and EA accounts before downloading any games.

The arrival of EA Play on the Game Pass for PC has already taken a long time. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have had access to the service on Xbox consoles since November.

The partnership with EA is part of Microsoft’s goal of making Game Pass an unbeatable deal for players. Square Enix’s Outriders will be available to Game Pass Ultimate members on April 1, while Microsoft added several Bethesda games to the service after closing the purchase of ZeniMax Media.
