DWTS professional dancer Keo Motsepe laments the death of his beloved mother: ‘I lost the queen of my heart’

Keo Motsepe is mourning the death of his beloved mother.

The professional dancer from Dancing With The Stars took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal his personal tragedy.

‘I’m going to miss you, Mom,’ wrote the South African native, along with a red heart emoji. ‘I love you #RIP.’

Earlier in the day, Motsepe started to cry when he spoke briefly about his loss during an Instagram Live.

‘[I] I woke up this morning to the most painful news ever, “said the 31-year-old before adding,” I lost the queen of my heart. ‘

So far there is no word on an official cause of death.

Motsepe’s mother’s death came just days after he reflected on the ups and downs of 2020 with a collage on Instagram, which included meeting new girlfriend and Selling Sunset star, Chrishell Stause, completing another DWTS season with partner Anne Heche and her mother.

“Although there are no words to describe the many challenges that 2020 has in store for us, I am inspired not only by those in my heart, but by humanity,” he wrote with evident emotion.

“This year, more than ever, I have seen people come together like never before, and while uncertainty is still in the air, I hope we will continue to help each other.”

Motsepe finished looking forward to the next year.

‘Thank you all for your kindness and love, and may 2021 bring you joy, health and light,’ he added, along with the hashtags: love, family, friends and happy new year. ‘

Motsepe is the first black professional dancer on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars program.
