Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is returning to the small screen with the help of NBC.
The 48-year-old star debuted the trailer for his biographical TV show, “Young Rock”, on his Instagram on Saturday.
Johnson’s new show will be a comedy series that chronicles three different phases of his life.

“Ladies and gentlemen, here’s your first look at @nbcyoungrock,” he wrote to his 212 million followers on Instagram. “I really wish my dad was around to see this one. Maaaaan, he would be proud.”
Johnson’s famous father of professional wrestling, Rocky Johnson, died a year ago, aged 75.
“Every hero has a story of origin, but not a full mustache at age 15,” the trailer narrator dramatically starts the 40-second clip. “It’s The Rock’s true life story.”

In one part of the trailer, fans can see a teenage Johnson played by Bradley Constant telling a girl that his name is Tomas because he thought he sounded cooler than Dwayne.
Other quick highlights show a pre-teen Johnson (Adrian Groulx) flexing his muscles at the gym alongside his father on TV (Joseph Lee Anderson) and an adult Johnson (Uli Latukefu) walking down a corridor.

The trailer also shows that preteen Johnson had a thing for tequila while the precocious young man tried to order a cocktail while having dinner with his parents.

Johnson provided additional information about “Young Rock” in a separate Instagram post.
“I appreciate all of your initial interest in our NBC comedy @nbcyoungrock about all the madness that has been my life over the years,” he wrote. “From growing up in the wild (and cruel) world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s to being accused of being a policeman disguised as a college student at the age of 15 because I was six feet tall with a FULL Magnum PI mustache and was driving my car itself. “

“Young Rock” will air on NBC on February 16. It also airs on NBC Peacock’s streaming service.
