Dua Lipa responds to the reaction after leaving the strip club last year: ‘Support women in all areas of work’

Dua Lipa is finally talking about the reaction she received at the beginning of last year, after she was spotted having fun at a Los Angeles strip club after the Grammy.

The “New Rules” artist was filmed throwing money at dancers who worked at a popular Hollywood spot, which was the setting for an after-party party organized by “Hustlers” actress Lizzo. Also present were singers Lil Nas X and Rosalía from “Old Town Road”.

After filming – which came from Lizzo’s Instagram Story – reaching Dua Lipa’s internet making it rain, the hashtag #DuaLipaIsOverParty started to become a trend on Twitter and many called the pop star for “exploring women” and being “anti-feminist”.

“I simply feel that if you are a feminist, you also have to support women in all areas of work,” Dua Lipa told Rolling Stone of the criticism and subsequent attempt to cancel it.

‘AUNTIE’ DUA LIPA REACTES THE PREGNANCY OF GIGI HADID: ‘IT IS VERY EXCITING NEWS’

“We have to support sex workers, we have to believe that [work] it is your choice and your right, “she added.” It seems quite hypocritical, I think, people choosing and choosing how they want to support women and when it suits them. This is another form of misogyny, which really stems from the male eye. “
