I’m not even second. The angels roll their eyes.” “I moved to LA when I was 12 to start filming a show that was on the Disney Channel.” “One two three four. Bizaardvark. We like to keep things weird. We make crazy videos and look good with a beard. ”“ That’s when I learned to play the guitar for the first time, a skill that became very useful for me. And then, after this show, I went straight to ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’, which is the show I’m shooting now. ”“ The cast list is posted. We have our Gabriella. “” The greatest blessing of this show is that I was actually able to write some songs for the show. ” Singing: “All I want is a love that lasts. Is that all I want to ask for a lot? “” I’ve been writing original music since I started talking. I just never showed it to anyone, never, until recently. “” Someone said ‘Hey, you have to take a look at this girl, Olivia Rodrigo’ and I went to her Instagram. ” Singing: “And I hope you’re happy.” “There was a song called ‘Happier’, and I heard it and thought, ‘Oh my God. This song is amazing.’ It’s amazing.” “That’s how he found me and gave me a DM and he was like Yo.” “Have you seen ‘Bizaardvark’ or ‘High School Musical?'” “No, no. I haven’t seen it yet and Olivia told me that I’m not allowed to watch anything. It is like a separate world for her. ”“ Actually, I really just got my driver’s license and I drove around my little suburban neighborhood, listening to music and crying. I was listening to ‘Minor’ by Gracie Abrams. “Singing:” MINOR, I am minimally a star. ” “There were so many intense emotions in my head and I was going through so many things. And there are so many thoughts and so many different aspects of that separation. So when I got home, I sat down at the piano. “Singing:” I got my driver’s license last week, something we always talk about. ” “And I was looking in my diary, actually recently, and I literally wrote, ‘I got my driver’s license last week.’ And that was the opening of my diary and it is the opening of music. And then I took it to my producer Dan, who is my favorite person to collaborate, and I said, ‘Hey, Dan, can I play something for you? I think this may be the best song I’ve ever written. ‘”“ And I said,’ OK, cool ‘. And then she sat down and played for me on that piano. ”“ I haven’t taken piano lessons in a long time, but I think it’s called suspension, where you hit a note. And then you create different melodies with the other hand, like – just this note over and over. I feel it’s kind of painful and it attracts you. “” Did you think about what the open door sign looked like in a car? ” “No, I really didn’t. I remember thinking about putting a car stereo on it and I almost didn’t say it because I thought, ‘He’s going to think this is stupid.’ “” She made her mom go and literally – “” Mom, can you record your car? Open the door and ask for a beep? ” [slamming car door] “And she said, ‘Sure.’ And then she sent me a voice note and we put it on the song. “” After we did that, I thought, ‘Oh, this is amazing.’ And then she hated it. And then she said ‘I don’t like this. I don’t want the car sounds there anymore ‘, and I remember thinking,’ No, I don’t think we’re going to keep those car sounds here ‘. ”“ I wanted it to go – I wanted to be a little detail because I wanted people to do TikToks where they could transition to it. And I thought if there was a little thing, there would be a cue, and people did TikToks like that. I am very happy with that. But go on – I love it, kind of ascent. You keep going up with the chord. And I love seventh notes, so I tried to put that there. And it seemed very powerful, and I thought that if I come up with my voice – “Singing:” I know we weren’t perfect, but I never felt that way “. “She originally wanted to sing everything in falsetto, and I thought, ‘You need to get it right.'” Singing: “And I just can’t imagine how good you can be now that I’m gone.” “And I think that was the best decision ever. It feels so emotional. Throughout the song, it almost feels like I’m going to break. “Singing:” I don’t think you meant what you wrote in that song about me. ” “It’s so desperate, like regret, and I think that essentially made music what it is.” “There were a few other lines on which you changed the lyrics.” Singing: “I bet you’re with that brunette girl, the one I always thought of. And you are probably with that blonde girl, who always made me doubt. “” Yes, I think it was the fun part of ending the song with Dan, getting his opinion on little things like that. ” “In that word -” Singing: “Today, I drove through the suburbs”. “Is that a tremolo of reverberation in ‘suburbs’ was my only moment of, ‘can we get a production trick on the second verse?’ We ended up recording the song, like, the initial version was 15 BPM faster than the version that exists in the world ”. Singing: “Yes, today I drove through the suburbs and figured I was driving home for you”. “It was very fast.” “We like the movement of everything, but we felt it was more exciting when it was slower.” “She walked into the studio on the third day and just looked at me – she said, ‘Dan, I’m sorry, but I think we did it wrong. And we have to do it all over again. ‘And I was so sad. ‘Oh no, we have to do this’ – but she was right. I knew she was right ”Singing:“ Because you said forever, now I pass your street alone. ”“ And then, with the bridge, he was like we had to make a huge bridge. And I was like, ‘I look bad.’ ”“ The word stop signs. I think it needs to be visual and stop signs. And suddenly, Olivia was like, ‘Red lights’, and we were like ‘Oh’ ”. Singing: “Red lights, stop signs”. “OK, it’s all the things you see when you’re driving, we said, ‘Oh, yeah’.” Singing: “White cars, front yards”. “I felt like we were on fire. We write so fast. ”“ Dan said, ‘What if we say we still [expletive] I love you?’ And I’m like, ‘This is brilliant. Come on. ‘”Singing:“ Because I still [expletive] I love you love. “” I don’t like cursing in songs, but I’ll take credit for it if she wants to give it to me. ” “And I think it’s really really cool – I swore on my first song. It’s a good, ‘Look, I’m an adult, I can tell you’ – I’m not an adult, but I’m 17 years old.” Singing: “Sidewalks that we cross , I still hear your voice in traffic. We’re laughing. “” First of all, people are so talented. And all of their covers and their dance videos just blow my mind. My favorite ‘Driver License’ TikToks are TikToks for dogs. They’re just my favorite thing. It was crazy. My whole life changed in an instant. It was weird. ” “The label is like, ‘Wow, the numbers are – everything’s great.’” “It’s the number one in the world on all streaming platforms and breaking all those records. But I didn’t leave the house. ”” When did you get your driving license? ” “I think six months ago. I took my driver’s license and also took a song from her.
