Drew Barrymore reveals that Clueless star Breckin Meyer was her elementary school boyfriend and her first kiss
Unlike her character ‘Josie Grossy’ in Never Been Kissed, Drew Barrymore revealed that she found dog love with a now famous Hollywood actor from an early age.
In his talk show on Friday, Barrymore, 46, spoke about his first boyfriend in elementary school, revealing that he was none other than star Clueless Breckin Meyer, 46.
Previously sharing that he was also her first kiss in her Little Lost Girl autobiography, she continued to divulge details about the show in a conversation with Scrubs stars, Zach Braff and Donald Faison.

Barrymore began his Hollywood career at the tender age of seven with ET and met Breckin when they were both child actors.
Speaking to Faison – who starred alongside Meyer in 1995’s Clueless – he shared that Breckin actually introduced him to Drew when he moved to Los Angeles.
‘When I moved to Los Angeles, Breckin, Paul Rudd and Alicia [Silverstone] took me to Jones and I met you that night – you and Johnny from The Karate Kid … I met you through Breckin and every time I saw you since then I was like “I know Breckin”, he said.

Upon hearing Breckin’s name, Drew, he couldn’t contain his excitement as he waited to reveal that she and the Road Trip actor had passed away a long time ago.
‘Breckin Meyer, also known as Travis Birkenstock, was my first boyfriend at the same school. I love Breckin, ‘she said.
In a 2012 interview with Access Hollywood, Meyer was asked about Drew writing that he was his first kiss in his book.
‘All I know is that it is true that it is in her book,’ he said, before elaborating on their story.

‘Hypothetically, what happened was when I was 11 … Drew was a friend when I was young. And she really got me a test with the agent, to whom I owe all my work ‘, he jokingly shared that the kiss was to thank her.
‘If you do me a favor, I’ll stay with you,’ Meyer laughed.
Barrymore had talked about the kiss in a 2019 interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show saying ‘It was great! He was adorable, ‘also adding that his friend’ kept scorecards. ‘
Since then, Barrymore has had a series of marriages with film producer Jeremy Thomas (1994-1995), Tom Green (2001-2002) and, more recently, Will Kopelman (2012-2016), with whom he shares two daughters Olive, from eight, and Frankie, six.
Meyer was married to screenwriter Deborah Kaplan from 2001 to 2014 and they share two daughters Clover and Caitlin.
