Donald Trump calls for a boycott of Coca-Cola, Delta, UPS in the fight for electoral law in Georgia

Former President Donald Trump on Saturday night called for boycotts of companies that demonstrated against Georgia’s new voting laws. This includes Major League Baseball, Delta Airlines, ViacomCBS, Coca-Cola, UPS and others.

Trump said “radical Left Democrats” had threatened to boycott products for several years, and now the Left is “taking a big step with WOKE CANCEL CULTURE”.

He said it was time for the Republicans to return the sentiment.

Trump said this in a statement by former senior legal counsel Jenna Ellis:

“Finally, it’s time for Republicans and conservatives to strike back – we have more people than they do – by far! Boycott Major League Baseball (MLB), Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, ViacomCBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS, and Merck, “said the statement.

“Don’t go back to their products until they give way. We can play the game better than they can.”

Trump went on to say, again, that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged”.

“They manipulated and stole our 2020 presidential election, which we won by an overwhelming victory and, furthermore, boycotted and frightened companies until submission,” continued Trump. “Never submit, never give up! The Radical Left will destroy our country if we allow it.

“We will not become a Socialist Nation. Happy Easter!”

Georgia passed new electoral laws last week that include voter identification for absentee votes, fewer collection boxes and makes it a crime to bring food and water to voters waiting in line to vote.

The MLB announced on Friday afternoon that it would pull this year’s Midsummer Classic from Peach State to a location “to be determined”.

“During the past week, we have had attentive conversations with clubs, former and current players, the Players Association and The Players Alliance, among others, to hear their opinions. I decided that the best way to demonstrate our values is a sport is to relocate All- Star Game and this year’s MLB Draft, “MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said in a statement.

This drew instant criticism from Trump and Governor Kemp, who said the MLB and Georgia’s top corporations “woke up” to “free and fair elections”.

“Baseball is already losing a huge number of fans and now they are leaving Atlanta with their All-Star game because they are afraid of radical Left Democrats who do not want the voter title, which is extremely necessary, to have anything to do with our elections, “Trump wrote Friday night.

“Boycott baseball and all the wake-up companies that are interfering with free and fair elections. You are listening to Coca, Delta and everything!”

Meanwhile, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp said on Friday that those who speak out against his state’s new electoral laws are simply “giving in to the culture of cancellation”. The Georgia governor told listeners across the country that “they are coming after you next time”.

“I think it’s a message to all of us, across this country that we’re home tonight, they’ll come after you next. You know, they’ll come after your ball game. They’ll boycott your business. If you you don’t agree with their lifestyle, they’ll go after you too, ”added Kemp.
