Did you see that? The short shot of the single-shot drone is impeccable

O BELO – We have all seen “drone shots at once” in our time on the internet.

It doesn’t seem that difficult when you know how to fly a drone. You fly over something beautiful, do some post-effects to make the colors stand out, and voila, you have something very good that people love to watch.

Now try adding a story, a script, humans and the many moving parts of a bowling alley, and you realize that all that landscape drone footage can be in the “ten cent category” (It’s not an insult; I would drop a drone in two seconds. All of you droners are doing great.)

Filmmaker Jay Christensen recently released a drone short film that includes all of the unexpected elements above.

The movie is called “Right Up Our Alley” and shows a typical night at the Bryant Lake Bowl bowling alley and theater in Minneapolis. And everything is done in one shot.

The fast-paced walk through the alley is incredible. He starts outside, enters the bowling alley and spends 1 minute and 27 seconds sliding smoothly all over the place. The film ends perfectly with a landing at the return of the narrow pin without a single push.

In fact, it is so incredible that it has caught the attention of people in Hollywood who know what they are talking about when it comes to film. Lee Unkrich, director of “Toy Story 3” and James Gunn, director of “The Guardians of the Galaxy”, both were surprised.

Note: This video can make people feel sick.
