Did Pokémon’s official Twitter account just trigger the return of Diamond and Pearl?

Pokémon Diamond And Pearl

This weekend, on February 27, the Pokémon series celebrates 25 years since the launch of the original Game Boy titles.

Rumors have already surfaced and now the official Pokémon Twitter account seems to be joining the fun. He is currently doing a countdown with different generations of pocket monsters. With four days left, the following tweet is shared, saying “Come on, Sinnoh”.

Although the same account made reference to other Pokémon games and generations in its daily countdown, this particular tweet some very excited fans.

The Sinnoh region was first introduced in the fourth generation alongside Pokémon Diamond and Pearl for Nintendo DS.

In case you forgot, last month, the Spanish fansite Centro Pokémon confirmed that Switches remakes of the DS Pokémon Diamond & Pearl titles were in development and would be revealed at the time of Pokémon Day, on February 27.

“The Pokémon Center can confirm that, according to sources close to the company, remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, originally released in 2006 for the Nintendo DS, are in development for the Nintendo Switch.”

A much older rumor that dates back to 2019 suggested that the remakes of Diamond and Pearl would present “let’s get it” (the capture mechanics first presented in the Pokémon: come on games).

If that is still not enough, it seems that the Poké Ball Plus, first released with Let’s Go games, is getting a timely reprint:

Keep in mind that there are only a few days until the Pokémon’s 25th anniversary, so if there is an announcement like this, you won’t have to wait long. what did you do with that? Leave a comment below.
